You’ve been playing with fire, mother. Prepare to get B U R N E D

I’VE BEEN LAUGHING FOR 10000 YEARS

Update: My mum came home. It’s a good thing I did this in the bathroom because she nearly peed herself when she saw it. After she finished laughing she turned to me with this dead serious expression and whispered

This means war

and silently walked out of the room

Guys I’m scared shitless I think my mum is gonna kill me in my sleep

UPDATE: I WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND MY COMPUTER BACKGROUND WAS CHANGED TO THIS

WITH A STICKY NOTE ON THE KEY BOARD THAT SAYS

“I am the oncoming storm”

HELP

tumblr people: TUMBLR IS A BULLYING-FREE COMMUNITY WHERE WE WILL NOT JUDGE YOU ON YOUR APPEARANCE OR SIZE OR GENDER OR SEX OR ORIENTATION AND ALL ARE WELCOME
tumblr people: but if you're 12.9 years old gtfo you're obviously a dumb immature shit
tumblr people: and if you're a white girl then we will make fun of you mercilessly
tumblr people: and if you don't ship a gay ship you must be a homophobe so gtfo
tumblr people: especially johnlock, you MUST be homophobic if you don't ship johnlock
tumblr people: and if you get a fandom reference wrong then we'll laugh at you are pressured into abandoning your blog, leaving it with the title "I didn't know it was from ____________"
tumblr people: and if you're religious you're probably a bible-banging homophobe so we hate you
tumblr people: and if you make a mistake, not out of being a bigot but out of simply being ignorant, we will yell at you rather than first trying to explain to and educate you about why that is a mistake
tumblr people: and don't get us started on how much we'll bait and insult you if you have a different diet to me

They say there’s no such place as Paradise. Even if you search to the ends of the Earth, there’s nothing there. No matter how far you walk, it’s always the same road. It just goes on and on. But, in spite of that…. why am I so driven to find it? A voice calls to me. It says, “Search for Paradise.”

So I saw this post about the theory that Marceline drinks PB’s pink on occasion, and I had so much enthusiasm for this idea that I just couldn’t contain it.

Major cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and even Houston have been declared by the Department of Homeland Security to be within the official 100 mile ‘border’ of the United States, subjecting 197 million citizens to electronic belonging searches without any suspicion.

“junior high students in north mid-western states were asked what they would do if the next morning they awake to find themselves transformed into the opposite sex.
the girls thought about the question for a while, expressed modest disappointment, and then described the kinds of things they would do if they were suddenly transformed into boys. become a doctor, fireman, policeman, or baseball player were typical answers.
the boys, by contrast, took virtually no time before answering. “kill myself” was the most common answer when they contemplated the possibility of life as a girl.”

well this is just disturbing

I understand the disappointment associated with this, but let’s take a moment to think about what would happen if this actually occurred. Women would have to get used to something hanging between their legs, not having to wear any uncomfortable breast support, may develop an anger problem or a sudden desire to be more assertive, and some general set backs with things like higher insurance costs for being a man. This is assuming stereotypical gender qualities, or course. It would be stressful for certain, but historically, women claim to be under more stress on a regular basis than men. Women also place a greater emphasis on managing stress and are more practiced in doing so.
Men, on the other hand, are usually not as practiced and familiar with stress and strong emotions. From a woman’s perspective, knowing what I go through every month, I would not want any of my male friends to be female unwillingly. A man suddenly changing into a woman would have to deal with unexplained sensitivity in the breasts, extra body fat, their first ever period, not to mention the emotional roller coaster that comes with menstruation and a sudden increase of estrogen and other chemicals in the body. This is stressful, but imagine how much MORE stressful it would seem from a man’s point of view. A man who has never put much stock in stress management plus experiencing a multitude of emotions that he is hardly as familiar with as a woman who experiences this once a month every month for several years. Now, thinking of that, how else is a man supposed to respond to a question like “what would you do if you woke up as a woman?”. I’m not trying to say men are stupid or not adaptable, but a male’s brain just can’t comprehend the magnitude of what it takes to be a woman. I also don’t want to say that feminists are wrong, because I’m sure a factor of a man not wanting to be a woman is how women are treated unequally. But I believe that is more of an afterthought, and menstruation is in the forefront of the man’s mind when he says “I would kill myself”, because it’s a scary thing to think about, especially if you don’t know when it’s coming.
I’m just saying, before accusing all men of being misogynistic assholes, think carefully about how it would feel if you were unexpectedly and unwillingly shoved head first into a completely unfamiliar place you weren’t comfortable being, because that’s how it would feel.
